I have a 2003 Honda 250EX and I am about to get some things for it. Is a PRM White Bros E-Series S-Bend Exhaust Pipe a good pipe? I see it on ebay for CHEAP and i wanted tyo know if this is a good pipe. Aslo, the rest of the stuff i want to get from rockymountainatv.com is a uni airfilter and K and N jet kit. ANy problems there? I want my power back(cut retinator off, drilled holes in baffle, bad choice) and i want to be loud. Good choices for brands and all?

Thanks for input.

S Bend is garbage. Put a Pro Circuit pipe, UNI filter. The best four stroke pipe available is the Fat Boy 4 by duncan, but it is expensive. Just go with the above, when I had my 250EX it gave me awesome power gains, it did the same to my 400EX. If you are going to invest in the jet kit you'll also want to take the snorkel off of the air box. It's the white plastic tube up front, its a pain in the *** but you will be able to tell the difference. If you don't jet to compensate though it will just create a big hole in the powerband because you will have more air then you will fuel.

The e-series is a fine exhaust. had one on my old 400ex. Works very well, though some people (including me) had some issues with the weld holding the bracket on cracking/breaking. No big deal though really. It's also a very loud pipe.

As for the jet kit, why do people continue to waste their money on one:confused:
Do you really need printed instructions and have them give you the jets they think you need?? Dont buy it, instead figure out the couple jets you are going to need depending on your elevation/weather and just buy what you need. You dont need a freaking kit to jet your carb.

I have already drilled holes in my air box lid and that has given me a gain in power. Are you sure when you take that snorkel off? Wont that make a big hole for dirt right underneath to get right in? Also, why do you not like the S-Bend? It is cheap only $180.00 when on rockymountainatv.com it is like 215.00

Thanks

Got my ATV magazine and they have a large section for pipes. I see the Duncan Fatboy 4-Q for my quad and its $425. Is this worth it. Where can i go to see more about it? Is it worth the money? How does it sound?>
