cmon guys! no replies?! i thought this would get a bunch if talk..hopefully some1 will reply to this and others will jump on the band wagon!..also i wanted to know about how much faster my 400 is than stock with a yoshimura full system is the only engine mod and soon to come jets,and k&n.

Well, i know a 300EX stock goes about 54MPH.
Raptors are in the 71 MPH range.Warriors are about 56-57MPH.
Thats about all im fairly sure of.

I have to disagree with these numbers too. I had a 96 Banshee with toomey pipes on it and bought a 250r with a paul turner pipe on it. I wanted to see which was faster so I took them both down the road to compare. The 250r was as fast as the banshee's top speed in sixth gear and it was only in fifth. My R was so fast that I didn't even hammer on it in sixth cause it was crazy fast. Both bikes had stock sprockets on them so that wasn't it. A banshee would reach top speed quicker but wasn't faster in the long run. Any R owner could probably verify this. Later

i have never wound my r out around here except going down a street.(pretty crazy it was in the rain.) the only other place was southern maryland atv in this huge feild but yea it is scary fast on top end wound all the way out.

really the blast would go faster than the 300ex think about it its much lighter its 2 stroke the gearing is dif. and the 300ex weighs more my stock 250x would not be a stock blaster and i know a 250x runs right up to a 300ex or will pass it

When I used my dads GPS, i ran a consistent 66.5 MPH on my 400EX STOCK.... BUT,,, With a Mega MaxII muffler, 170 dynojet main, no airbox lid, K&N filter and pre-charger, i ran a 68 MPH on top end.... The power of the bike though, dramatically increased though after i did those mods.... It takes off like a rocket when it hits mid band. But its everybodys preference, between speed and acceleration.... I like them both, thats why i have my stock sprocket on mine still...

i think a 400 is around 65-66. i dont know exactically, but that is the regular that i have heard.
a blaster will take off faster than a 300, but not be able to touch it in top end. Personally, my 300 will beat a very slight mod blaster all around (raced one w/ pipe and uni filter, thats it, nothing more) but this is when i didnt have an oil cooler and sprocket.

my 400ex did 72 stock at a local drag strip. and i really doubt their speed was off. i put a complete exhaust, stage 2 jets, 16 tooth sprocletm and pro flow intake and it does 77 now. and thats no lie its the fastest 400ex in mobile alabama

of course they all vary with mods....now with the blaster being faster than a 300 yes it is. my friend with a blaster did not want to race this 300 with a pipe on cause he thought he'd loose after i talked him into it he beat him by about 3 lengths. 250ex dont even come close to a blaster. raptors just plain suck....most ppl who own them listened to the mags and think they have the fastest thing on 4 wheels. some kid was talkin crap bout my shee i said lets race....dude i pulled the holeshot so bad i let off cause i thought he wasnt racing then i floored it agian and roosted him...at the end i had him by about 8 lengths....it was sad...he ran away did not even stay for us to humiliate him. 250r is fast but not faster than a shee on top.

i'd take the acceleration and power over the speed, cause as soon as i have to start shifting weight and turning, thats my strong spot, who cares how fast yah are i took you on the high side mauaha.. no really take the 5% of the bikes potential and mix it with the 95% of the riders ability ;)

I heard someone in school that they thought their 300 4X4 utility went 65. I just about laughed my ***** off. Course, you cant tell them any diffrent.Id say my 250X goes 60 with the stuff i have on it. I might be faster, but im not to sure, but im am pretty sure its atleast 60. 22 inch razrs and a 35 tooth rear sprocket ( stock 300's are 39 i beileve.)I tell you guys exactly how fast i go, as soon as i get a GPS , or a radar gun :)( Blaster might get the 300 in top speed, but their crap-o stock shocks wont cut it in the woods)

the only thing that matters is how fast you get there.:D

im sorry to break every 250ex'rs and 300ex'rs heart but i own a 250 and it will not do more than 53 stock . Blasters wil whoop 300ex's so bad its not eaven funny. my dads gps got my friends blaster at 59.8 my friends blaster was dead even with a warrior and the blaster has 20inch holeshots and the warrior had 22inch raz'rs and my 250ex was not very far from a piped jetted airfilterd 300ex. i think 300ex's are way outdated and stink they are not worth the money and evryone should justr get a 400ex. btw i have also ridden a ds560 and their bottom end stunk!!

a 250EX is WAY diffrent than a 250X/300EX. Get your facts straight there bud.There are so many variables, and some many people screaming their the best.
And, I think your full of crap.a 250EX, almost beating a piped,jetted, and airfiltered 300EX, that shows alot of inteligence.(stock 250EX,i guess)Either that guy didnt know how to ride, or your liein.What all does your friends blaster have on it?That might help us.And being out-dated, and stink, you should be talking about the guy with the warrior.Atleast our engines have atleast an over-head cam, and 4 valves.Their the quads that stink, and are outdated,maybe you should tell him to get a blaster, and se what he tells you.Im sure those 2 valve pushrod warrior engines really belt the HP out real quick... :huh :huh :grr :confused:

hehe, got a 300 4x4 in my barn and that thing tops out around... 45 if your lucky, dragged it against a foreman with a speedo. but 4x4's sure are fun though! heh

just put it this way. the fastest thing is the raptor. and it is considerably faster than the 400ex. the banshee is second fastest but not far behing the raptor. then the 400ex. and the 300ex and the blaster are very close to the same. he reason most of you ppl are saying that the 300ex will beat the blasters so bad is that probably the person on the blaster cant drive a 2-stroke too well. but ive seen great drivers run blasters against 300exs and they are neck and neck.and your sayin that the blaster is 2-stroke, lighter, and has different gears. thats true but the blaster is only a 200. and it is no tmaking the same power as the 300ex. and yall all can move down to mobile, alabama if ya want. id really like the competition. there arent many ppl to ride with down here. except me and my friends but all five of them have new raptors that blow me away. :D

maybe a 89 blaster will get smoked but a 2002 will smoke a 300ex

the blasters stock are faster than a 300 stock becuase the 300 is so corked up stock (header and air filter are really restrictive). if you pipe both quads, the 300 will beat it.

Does top speed really matter unless all you do i drag? At the track do you ever get to go wide open 5th? As far as the blaster 300 thing goes...I don't really care if a blaster has a higher top speed...ITS TOO SMALL...THE SHOCKS SUCK...AND THE DARN THING STILL HAS DRUM BRAKES. I would take my 300ex over any modded blaster for everything except drags.

well, a 300ex frame wit a blaster motor would be cool, hydrolic brakes, nice shox and frame, weigh less than the 300 cause motor weight, stiff shox cause it is lighter, and a big chassi, now that would be kinda cool

instead of wasting a blaster moter in a 300ex not put it in a 400ex
