Riding is the only way I do it....be careful though the first time! They can screw up your shifting and braking!

just walk around in the house for a few hours, if you get good boots, sometimes you dont need to break them in at all

With my Alpinestars I just rode them untill they were broken in and it worked fine...

ya i second that, i had to move up my shift lever ALOT after i got rid of my wal mart rubber fishing boots! but once u go from crap riding footwear to riding boots, youll never go back. alot more support and comfort!

i dont know if you'd be able to run on a treadmill due to the fact that they're so stiff. IMO, just ride

I just bought new Fly Talon 2's they are sweet very comfortable and and have the most protection I have ever had from boots. On the downside they are kind of expencive I got my for $200and think there worth it. As for breaking them in I just went out and rode in them and got the feel for them.:)

i wore mine around the house and walked around and stretched them as much as possible. I also wore them when sitting at the computer and I would try to stretch them out by putting my heels down and up. That made the area around the ankle not as stiff and by the time I got to ride in them, they were almost perfectly broken in.

i just stretch them around in the most akward positions while walking around the house.

I'm getting the Oxtar Pro's - I bought some for my husband - who was an avid Tech 8 guy - and he loves them. Raced without ever wearing them before and since they flex at the ankle - they never felt stiff for him. They have excellent support and are just really well made......I'll let you know how I like them when i get mine. My Tech 8's have finally had it.......just wore them out! LOL!!
