upgrade to 400?

Ok yeah Im upgrading from a 250 and im trying to decide what to get. I thought abut the yfz 450 but to expensive, im also thinking about a LTZ 400 or lt 250r. What do you guys thing of the LTZ 400? Is it better then the Honda?? or what?

yeah it would be a god step up not unless you wanted somin in between like a raptor 350 or 300ex . I bout my kfx instead of a 400ex beacause it is water cooled and i felt more comfortable on the kfx. No mater if u get the z or ex they are both great quads

unless your buying brand new the ex doesnt have reverse and either way the z has more power and way better suspension especially if your going with the 05 z

Well actually they BOTH have reverse now. Theres really no comparison from a 400ex to a z400. The z400 beats it in every catagory and I have both and a yfz. If your buying new, wait till the end of this year when suzuki introduces the z450. Im sure ut will be worth every penny and worth the wait!!!

I went from a 2001 250ex to an '05 KFX400 (Z400) and I love every minute of it. The power upgrade is unbelieveable, especially after you do a few minor mods (pipe, filter, rejet). All I have for performance is that, and tires and it's all the power I need. Keeps up with the 450s fine on the trails, and sometimes in drags.

Don't bother waiting for the Z450 unless you plan to strictly race. Rumor has it it's going to be like 3 inches wider than the YFZ450, stock, be kickstart etc. You will be PLENTY happy with the power upgrade from that 250ex to a Z400, trust me.

I am a honda man and i love my 450r but i have to be honest and say if i was going to buy one of the 400's i would definitely get a Z or KFX. They are way better in every way.
