Im selling a 1986 250r. It has been completely rebuilt and never ridden on the dirt once. Ridden in the street in front of my house to make sure everything was functioning properly.
Engine:
Freshly Rebuilt Top end .30 over
-Wiseco Piston/Rings
Freshly Built Bottom end with all OEM parts.
LRD Adjustable exhaust.
The bike has all new bearings and was put back together with all new hardware.
The Frame has been fully gusseted and powdercoated red.
The A-arms and Swing arm were done in silvervein. Other accents were done in black such as the hubs, radiator etc.
4 Gallon Gas Tank.
All Brand New Maier Plastics
All brand new ITP Wheels with Razr Tires front and rear.
TCS Front suspension with Compression Adjustment.
Rear Suspension is stock, but was modified and rebuilt by CPM.
Im sure there are tons of things that im missing, but its been such a long time I dont even remember everything.
The bike has vin tags and has been registered by me.
The reason I built the bike was to originall start racing at the track, but I finished the build and never got around to it. I didnt even get to ride it in the dirt yet.
Im in NYC and i have to drive a minimum of an hour to ride legally, so i guess this wasnt the ideal sport for me.
Plus I really started building my car and could use this money else where.
When I first built this bike a few years back it was worth alot more. I have well over 6k in this bike not including labor because i did it all my self.
I know the market on the 250r's went down.
I originally didnt want to list on here because i knew how cheap they were going, but this is my last resort.
Im asking 4000. I will work out shipping arrangements at buyers expense. I will even drive such a distance to meet a buyer.
