JE 330cc PISTON FOR 300ex ?

Hi all!

I’m looking for some information about the JE 330cc piston for 300ex.

They said that it doesn't require any sleeve for this piston.
I can't understand how that on one kit it requires is and on the other it doesn't.
Both are 80mm diameter.

Are there any members here that hade experience with that piston?
Is it having a good long life?

You dont "have" to resleeve.

However you do "need" to resleeve. The walls get very thin and will cause issues in the long run. Esp. being an air cooled machine.. they run hotter.

1) Resleeve
or
2) Get the smaller kit

My reccomendation anyway.

Yea........... you will be really screwed if you don't resleeve. I could sit my stock sleeve right down inside of my 330 sleeve, so I don't even know if it would be possible to not resleeve.
