450R Shock Compatability

Okay I would have posted this on the 250R Forum but nobody would answer it.... My buddy has a pair of 450R Shocks mounted on his 400EX. I want to know if I can fit 450R Shocks on my 250R without modification?

yea you should be bale to suince 400ex shocks will go to a 250r without mods

About 1" too long unless you move your bottom shock mount out!

just because things bolt up does not mean it is a good or safe mod, stick with things made for your quad

I have extra mounts for TT racing, about 1 1/2'' over on each A-Arm... They were there when I got it. So they will fit fine then I guess. Well, I don't really think safety is an issue, since that 400 rides so much better than it did without any problems, but I know as good as anybody **** dosen't always work out the way you intend :) I'll just have to see how everything goes. If it's not right, taking the stockers off dosen't ruin them, I can just mount them back up if it's stiff or sloppy or whatever. Now... Does anybody have a set of 3 for sale?
