I am Reduing my entire 400ex will post pics when im done. But anyways I couldnt get my swing arm bolt off(out) so I cutt the swing arm off and hacked the bolt in to but now the bolt is stuck in the motor. Im back at square one only not the swing arm but the motor. I have soak the bolt with PB blast and THRUST by CASTLE. I was also going to try liquid torch by CASTLE.

How hot and i heat up the case with a torch before if will get to hot? or is there any other plans anyone else has tried. I have heated it and hit the bolt with a hammer but i dont want to hit it to hard and crack the case. I dont know how else to get it out...NEED HELP

Pull the eng out,
and drill the center of the bolt out.
Start with a small bit and step up.

On the best exhaust Sparks X-6:D :D

It's probably kinda hard to pull the engine out with the stuck bolt going thru it....:huh

It probably needs to be cut out like mine did.

use an air chisel and set your psi at or about 100. should pop that sucker right out. thats how i took the pivot bolt out of mine. came out very nicely.

like said 100000x over, I have used a torch. cut it on either side of the eingine then the rest just slid out of the case. try to get it turning b4 you start cutting.

Ever think of just loosening the front motor mounts.. so there isn't as much sheer tension at the frame => motor connection at the swingarm bolt?

I'm thinking if someone is getting ready to get out the torch, they have tried just taking a little tension off it.

THE MOTOR IS OFF THE FRAME IT IS SITTING ON MY PORCH. MY FRAME IS LONG GONE GETTING POWDER COATED. I CANT TAKE THE OTHER MOTOR MOUNTS OFF BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY OFF. ALL THE TENSION IS OFF. THANKS FOR THE HELP THOUGH

If you would of read his post.
He has already cut the bolt in two,

IF THE BOLT SPINS FREE , THEN IT IS STUCK ON THE TWO COLLARS IN THE CASE HALFS, AIR HAMMER IS THE BEST WAY ,I'D STAY AWAY FROM THE HEAT WRENCH. IF YOU DON'T HAVE AIR HAMMER GET A DRIFT-PUNCH THE SAME SIZE AS THE BOLT AND A B-F-H
