Welcome to the 1st Round of the FMF Extreme Dirt Track Nationals. There was a little change in the schedule and the first stop on the series was at Greenbrier, AR.

I was curious about how the turnout was going to be.....what a great start to the series.....332 riders and over 850 people in attendance!!:macho Way to go!

After the riders meeting it was time for the National athem...

The Reynolds have a great facility and really put a lot of hard work into what they do....

The track layout was a little different than last year.

From a concrete start it was down the straight...and around the sweeper...

After the sweeper you came into the lane option....inside or out...

The both lanes had a few turns and came right back at ya...the inside lane had a small table and a long sweeper....the outside lane had a small table, roller, and another table...

Around the end sweeper and back onto the home straight...

Saturday afternoon it was finally time for the pro's to come out and do a little practice...

There were 18 riders signed up for the pro class....

Here is a few shots of them during practice...

This first shot looks like we just came off of last season...

After practice the pro's got to go back and make any final adjustments they needed before the heat....

There was two divisions...

It was a really close race between Hitt and Ogden....Here battling while pulling away from the rest of the pack...

After practice, heats, and some other amature mains it was finally time for the pro main event....

We started it off again with the National athem and a word of prayer....

Now it is main time....The announcers really got the croud going....and the track was lined all around...

With the track much darker and alot of dust flying around we had a difficult time getting photos......but here is what I have....

Tim talked about not getting the start he wanted and had to really ride hard to get to the front of the pack....

2nd place finisher #12 Keith Little....Keith says it was great winning last years title and hopes to be a contender for the #1 plate this year as well....

Harold was glad to win the first event and looks forward to the rest of the season....mx and tt....Congrats Harold....

I dont know where the champaign was but the trophy girls did get a victory lap with the top 3 men of the night....

Hey its trophy girl #2! Keith's gal. Whats it mean "back to the real world girls?" :ermm: How come the women's class doesnt get any good shots like the guys, we're just as important you know!!!
