I was looking at brake pads at Rocky Mountain ATV, and ran across the following brands: "Titax" and "Tusk", along with EBC and Galfer pads. Are the Titax and Tusk brands okay quality? Or should I spend a little more and get EBC or Galfer brand pads?

I posted this in the Open Forum so I would get a quicker response. I'm planning on ordering tonight, or early tomorrow morning. Thanks.

I used the ebc ones and I was happy with them, I got the new organic series ebc pads on my banshee, they stop better, and wear less then the metallic pads :)

Thanks Mxjunkie. I've always used OEM and EBC pads for MX and been happy. If these other brands are cheaper with equal or better quality than something like EBC, I'll go with them. Anyone else have any comments? Thanks.

I use the Cheapo pads out of rocky mountain. The only thing ive noticed is that they seem to fall apart after alot of torture. So they might not be the best quality, but they seem to stop me.

Well, I ordered some of the Tusk brand pads from Rocky Mountain ATV. For $15 a set, you can't beat the price. Now I'll see how well they hold up.
