05 Z400 Sprockets

I am interested in getting sprockets for my quad but not sure what I need to get. I will have filter, jets, and exhaust when its time for the sprockets to go on. My main mission will be to not lose much or any stock acceleration but to gain some topend maybe around 75mph with the mods I listed above plus sprockets. My question is which sprocket do I need front or rear or both? How many teeth for each sprocket will I need to get the topend I want and what brand should I get? Thank you for the help.

if u want top end, bump up the # of teeth.

You could put a 15 tooth on the front and a 37 on the rear and easily make 73-75 with the mods you listed. But you would lose acceleration.

stock gearing is 14-40 and pulling high 60's. go to 15-39 and you should be around 75 with a full pipe, filter, rejet, and you could also get a new cdi to help with the top end.

you can get a 1000+ cdi from alba for about $70.00, thats what i got on my z and it works pretty good.
