Do you guys out there with the yfz's think that a guy should buy the brand new bike or just find an 04 or 05 yfz that has mods already done to it? Either spend the 7 grand that the new bike is going to cost or spend 5500 on a bike with nerfs, pipe, etc....?

find an 04 or 05 used one. just make sure its in great shape and look over everything well, and dont be afraid to ask questions! i found my 03 Z with all the mods in my sig for 3900.

Buy a nice used one...the extra couple g's isnt worth it in my opinion when the used one will already be modded

go for new, most guys dont take care of theres, and engine failure can get into the thousands quick , plus ull be better off with the round style carrier and stuff, get a new 06 and mod it slowly , youll be very happy

I understand that it is up to me, I just value some of the opinions on this site, and just thought I would ask. Thanks for the responses guys, I'll let you know what I decide when I do it.

If you want to spend an extra grand or so on a new one, the I say go for it. If you buy a new one you will have less money for mods, so if you want more mods buy a used one. Some Used ones come with mods too, remember that!

Deff get a good used one, there are plenty of people who buy them and barely ride them, then sell them for like around 5k, then you could use the extra money u saved to mod it, if it doesnt already have mods.
But get an 05, softer seat, stronger swinger etc..
