did a search and got nothing. I am putting in a 440 motor and it has around 48-50hp and i know its going to run hot and im going to be racing nationals on it so i need her to run cool. What can i do for cheap that wont take too long. I saw adding another oil cooler but i need to know wher to drill hole, what size drill what size thread to tap and so on. I cant afford a larger oil tank and oil cooler unless i can get one for under 1 or 200 bucks until august.

got neither a larger oil cooler nor a tank and she runs just fine

actually oil tanks and aux oil coolers are just a gimick for the most part the only major thing they actually do is prolong oil life they really don't lower engine temps any

The best thing you can do to make it run cool is run the proper octane gas and make sure it is jetted properly.
