im trying to take apart my hmf silencer so i can get the canister powdercoated. i drilled out all the rivets but still cant get the canister to come off. has anyone ever done this before?

Are all of the rivet "bodies" out, not just the heads?

yes all the rivet bodies are out. i can see straight through the hole to the packing and the rivet bodies are rolling around between the canister and the packing
