I was wondring the same thing. Are they the durablue graphlite spacers? +1.5" front and +2.5 rears right? I have a set I was thinking of putting on my sons quad.

Looks good by the way:devil:

yes the spacers make a difference! i had some on my old 250 and wow did it help. makes it WAY more stable, and handled alot better. lance got the rears too so im sure the 250 handles great

Yeah I had them on my 300ex for a while but I ended up gettting an axle and a arms so I took them off. How is your turning radius with the spacers? We ride woods so it's somewhat important. Does it seem really wide out back and kinda narrow up front?

Thanks for the info

if your fimilar with the 250ex, they turn REALLY sharpe, and the spacers i had one mine only made me loose a little steering, but barely enough to notice. lance said he gained 3 inches in the front and 5 inches in the back, so i guess youll have to ask him how they preform, may be diffrerent from the experience i had on my 250ex. but overall, if you ride trails, flats, fields and stuff like that, spacers are fine. but if you wonder onto a motocross track with spacers, you might want to wonder back off it because it puts extra stress on stuff.

Yeah I know about the dangers of wheel spacers. No MX here and my son will only get a couple feet of air for now so they should be safe. I'm just hoping it turns good enough in tight trails. Thanks

it will do great in tight trails. my dad and i rode trails all day long, and even cut new trails while i had my spacers on them. it still turns sharper then any sport quad ive seen with the spacers up front:cool:

Havnt been on all day. sorry for not replying.

But yes they made a HUMONGO difference. Ive rode it for 3 days now with them on and man o man it has not once got on 2 wheels. And knowing me i love to do dounuts. The turning radius is still really good on it. didnt loose much on turning. Yes they made the back 5 inches wider and the front 3. It would still be great for trails with them on. Before i had my sapcers i had nerfbars and they stuck out past the tires and never hit ne trees or anything. Now that i got the spacers the back tires is barely past the nerfbar. I would recomend a set ! :macho

Any more questions ?

That pretty much answers everything for me. Thanks. My boy likes dougnuts so he'll be happy to hear that. I'm not too worried about it being hard on parts right now because he isn't going to be too hard on it plus he's a lightweight. I'm mostly looking for stability for off camber situations on the trail and such. I only let him try dougnuts when I think conditions are right.

Also just an FYI we have the same type of dunlop radials that are on the raptors and z400's stock and they are a great upgrade for the 250ex. It handles much better than with the stock tires the 250ex's come with.:macho

It looks good but I think you ruined it by putting on all those stickers. You dont even have half that stuff on your bike. Other then that it looks really good.

06-28-2005, 07:27 PM
yea, i agree, only put on stickers of stuff you have. The only stickers on my bikes/quad are the ones that come with the parts:o

06-28-2005, 07:29 PM
nice quad

Mxjunkie
06-28-2005, 07:48 PM
Its called poor mans graphics kit, people do it all the time I think it looks pretty cool when someone flows and makes their own, the k&k's were all over when they first came out, everyone looked the same :p

FasstMidnightZ

if so how are they holdin up:confused: na i dont jump it to much, the highest id go with them would be about 3 or 4 feet, if over that its prob gonna be a little risky. They hold up great i think it was deffentaly worth the money

HondaEXrider22
06-29-2005, 09:50 AM
OK Thanks...I just want to screw up knowing my luck. How do those lights go on? Like a clip or something...sorryy for questions but i dont want to screw up.

FasstMidnightZ
06-29-2005, 10:11 AM
like the little green and red covers is what holds them in there. When you pop them off they should come out of the plastic thing on the handlebars. Then when u have your new holes drilled in your plastic or whatever you take the back part of the light. ( where the wire is) and put it up threw the hole then take your litle green cover and put it on the top. Its kinda hard to explain but you'll figure it out

HondaEXrider22
06-29-2005, 11:05 AM
OK Thnaks so your saying the red and green light covers come off as is?

HondaEXrider22
06-29-2005, 11:19 AM
OO Crap...nevermind. Thanks for the help. Once my pipe comes in im gonna have to rejet and take apart the plastics... taking off the warning labels, new stickers, taking off that black thing. Gonna be a new quad lol.
