pros and cons

hey everybody... i just bought my firts quad (99 400EX) and i am just wondering what everybodythinks about the quad as a whole. what are some of the pros and cons about it and (if any) are there any weak spots?

Its a good quad thats near bulletproof :D

a weak part is the swinger bearing thats fade quickly

Pros:
One of the most reliable quads out.
Many aftermarket parts for them.
Responds well to mods.
Evenly distributed weight makes for easy jumping and wheelies

Cons:
Bigger Bores sometimes have problems with overheating because of air cooling.
Battery location.


Overall you getting a very good quad.

Pros:
Tough as nails
Huge fun factor
Reliable
Realitively quick in stock form

Cons:
Takes up all your free time
Can become a money pic (see above about aftermarket availability)


You'll have a blast with it! I ride mine every chance I get and can't get enough.
