Just get a cutting wheel put a grinding wheel on it and grind until you can bolt them up. not very hard.

Ive seen them on Ebay start for 75-125 and end round 150-250, depends on how old or hours. Im lookin for a pair that was just removed when the quad came home. Ill be lookin for a while. I also found Works for $379. Im almost sure Ive seen them cheaper before though.

$250 is the norm for 450r front shocks. I bought a set for $250 for my 250R and then sold them for $250 before I even used them. I upgraded piggyback triple rate Elkas. 450R shocks are longer than 400EX/250R shocks so your quad will sit higher in the front.
In the pic you will see my 250R with +2+1 a-arms and 450R front shocks sitting beside a '05 Blaster with +2+1 a-arms and Works shocks.
