my motor went out the other day and i went through hoops and found out the problem.. well atleast i think its the problem...

on the left side of the motor (400ex) theres 2 hex bolts that are the rocker arm shafts.. one of them was unscrewed and sticking out about 4 cm from the side of the motor... i have yet to ever look in my motor before.. so do you guys have any idea what could have caused this or what could be wrong with my motor? sorry for the bland post but i believe this is my problem but now i have no clue what to do.....

BTW its a 400ex

thanks for any help guys:macho

i was riding in about 1/2 throttle 4th gear.. then it just turned off.. just like it ran out of gas or something..

but i checked everything like..
gas
petcock was turned on
re-wired kill switch
cleaned carb
opened up head found no problems with the cam cam chain or rockers

now i dont know what to do next
