We wanted to make sure we got ample ride time on these before leveling our evaluation. 40 + hours and not one issue.

After making the swap to a lighter front spring the shocks have preformed flawless.

The test quad and rider are now able to ride at a much higher level thanks to the suspension soaking up anything we have thrown it's way.

Our test rider is a C class rider, but for the last 3 weekends he has been stepping it up and riding with A class riders. He admits the seat time is the most important aspect of his improvement but acknowledges that without the suspension he could not attempt riding like he is now.

Derisi took note of the spring rates and due to further testing now has a package that he feels will help any rider go harder longer without breaking the bank for full aftermarket shocks.

For $1000 we were able to add stability and a much better ride to our project YFZ. The +2 arms and shocks were well worth it.

Our rider did take notice that the rear shock preforms extremely well and has even helped prevent many harsh landings where the stock shock would have kicked and bucked.

All in all, Derisi's shock package gets an A+ from us and those that have test riden the quad.

im pretty sure $1000 was the budget. that covered the arms and all 3 shocks. i will double check but i know it wasnt over $1200 because a feller that had just dropped $1100 on front shocks was a bit steamed:p

now we have a YFZ with Derisi and a 450R with C&D rebuilds. I think a little race is going to happen as soon as Joey's finger heals up:eek: :D

I saw your test rider at tomahawk on memorial day. The YFZ does lokk sweet. Not a bad way to show that a man with a budget can have a mx worthy quad. We are looking forward to the next D7 race at tomahawk. Hope to see you there this time.

Hey pappy, could you give some contact information on the shock rebuilds, they seem to be a great alternative to $2k long travel front ends:o

I have the rear shock rebuild, and it is incredible. This weeking up in WV, it didn't kick back on me once, whereas in TN a few weeks ago it did a few times.

The harder the set up is run, the better it preforms.

The Burgard arms and De risi shocks will get thier first race testing in 2 weeks. our rider has been putting in the laps, the quad is holding up extremely well and we are confident we can do well in the rider's first ever MX race!

Hey Pappy, How are those Turf Tamer rear tires? How do they compare with the Holeshots or the Razors? Would you recomend them for motocross?

Hey, those look really nice. I was wondering if you could PM me a list of the prices for the shocks and a-arms as well. Also, how far away are their performance when compared to an aftermarket long-travel setup?

you guys wanting prices on the shock rebuilds, why dont you just call DeRisi? or look on his website? I went a different route, but the info and pictures are on the website.
