i was just thinking that i ride alot in the summer and, when we go to tennessee we do trail rides hours at a time. so i am considering one of those camel back water packs. i found one i like after searching for about an hour online, comparing price and size mainly. the one i like is the fox low pro hydration pak. from experience, what do you guys think about water packs? are they comfy, worth buying and what not.

You won't notice it there, but glad you have it! Definitely worth buying. ;)

what size should i get. seems like a 2 liter bladder is most popular.

Once you ride with one you wonder how you survived without it.And you will not ride without it again. I like the camel back brand.yes i know their trehuggers:mad: But the quality is so much better. I know several people with em and everyone leaks all over them.the camelback uses a very good mouth peice that dont leak at all.I also have a larger one that has several pockets.Great for holding tools and a snack.plus a pocket big enough for a rain suit.

got to go riding today and try out my new camel bak, anndddd I LOVE IT. i filled it up with some ice water and it stayed cold for a longg time. had an extra shirt on the back on the bungess cords and a camera in the zipper compartment. as for comfort, it rocks. i didnt even know it was there, very lightweight and comfortable. its so nice to have alot of fresh water on the trail or where ever for that matter.

i would suggest one to every one, great investment worth every penny.

i might get one of the small light ones with just a pocket or two. What do u guys do with the hose? Does it like strap to the shoulder straps so it doesnt flop around, and u unhook it to get a quick drink or what?

Some people wear them over and other others wear them under the protector.

I wear it over, but it's the same thing, can't even tell it's there.
