my friend is wanting a Raptor, Z400, or a Predator. he wants something that he can jump, has top end yet it can be pulled into a wheelie. mostly he rides it in trails but rides some in fields. which one would be best for him to get?

My raptor does everything your friend is looking for, Ive ridden a Z, but not a predator before though, Wheelie wise, the raptor will lift up in most gears, the Z isn't too bad either, I did a quick drag with my friend on his Z, and me on the Rappy, He got off the line quicker, but I caught up really quick and blew by him. Id say he be very happy with any of these quads for what he wants.

No doubt! I'm not going to say one is better than the others cause ALL of them are awesome quads. Have your friend ride em all and decide on his own. If money is an object, find the best deal............

Raptor handles worse than both of those bikes, the pred is too heavy and lacks low end power. Go with the 400 its a great play quad.

well as robin hood was saying he beat me in the long run when i had my z (on the road). on the trails it, it wasnt like that. if you go for the raptor, go with a newer model. i personally dont like the feeling of beeing so high up. overall best qaud for your friend would be a 400ex. a tad slower than the z, but that can be easily fixed. jumps nicely, amazing wheelie machine, beast in the trails, and its crazy reliable. ride red:devil:
