what a complete let down by honda. they should be embarrassed yamaha is gonna spank them in sales this year by lots. people are just gonna flock to the dealerships to see the new shiney black plastics:rolleyes: they really arent listing to what the people want. They havent done anything super in the last 5 years

I wonder what is wrong with Honda, I havent heard many people talkin good on their progress. Yea they make good machines but they just arent appealing to the public as much as yamaha and suzuki. Maybe the market for them in other countries is greater.

Yea, I am hoping to see some nice updates to the 450r! It would be nice to see an all new 650r with a suped up engine, maybe even a 700, to compete with the raptor 700. But that will never happen. Guess I will keep dreaming.........

And what exactly would that accomplish ?

A non-liquid cooled, underpowered quad. If their going to make anything race-ready they should start with their claimed to be "race ready out-of-the-box trx450r"

i think honda should put the R shocks on the 400 and ditch the R look on the 400. its pretty ****in stupid to have 2 quads look exactly a like, they should have left the 400 plastic the same.

i think thats about the highest chance of anything happening for it,,, seems like its a logical thing they would do, i did notice on the 06 CRF 450 they re did the cases to allow the motor to sit different, but no changes to the CRF motor otherwise, hopefully we will know soon.

I just think if it were reliable ,it would boost even more sales for the Ave. entry level rider ;) Not everyone likes to kick over a qaud.

yea they make an electric start for the 450R, but it looks ugly as **** on the side of the motor.

looks like the 250ex, 450r, and trx90 are getting a make over if they aint releasing there pics or info yet??? but its hard to say but... yamaha is kicking hondas butt... i mean honda is just letting them throw them around with out a big bore quad... and there yamaha beeing a 450 now will kick the honda 450 out of its pants...

honda will probably up the ante,,, hopefully a 650 or 600 big guy and a revised 450r,,, i mean look at honda, look at the CRF450,, that engine is insane, putting out around 55hp dont know if thats crank or RWHP but, still.. they have alot more potential, i guess they are just worried of what the ATVing world is coming to again, they dont want anymore lawsuits, and yes honda will take some time to do so because they make sure when they release it that it is going to be reliable. as for suzuki,,, it should be interesting to see what they do,, they will probably try to copy the YFZ frame or the 450r frame if i had to guess. seems like thats what they do. Heck they might even try to make it look like a raptor with the plastic cutouts..... who knows, itll be very interesting

Honda is way to secretive about everything its starting to annoy me and I am a very big Honda fan I eat breath and sleep honda but I am starting to fade towards yami, Honda better start moving quicker on updates on quads and/or a whole new quad before they lose more fans
