IMO..taking the baffle out just makes it loud and it sounds really bad..nothing like a true aftermarket pipe, and you dont gain any power

Taking out the baffle will probably make the jetting wrong so I would guess it would void the warranty.

if anything all you will get is a LITTLE low end, and loose a ton of topend because there wont be as much back pressure. And it will sound like crap! I cant stand stockers without baffels they sound like empty cans :o

yea pipes are designed with all the peices to work with eachother, taking out the baffle will not make it any more powerful, sound chitty, and not have enough back pressure

yeah it will. picture a gas tanker hitting a wall at 70 mph. That should give you a good visual image of what is going to happen.

is it ok to take it out for a second to just hear it?

you could take it out and ride it around for a little just to see, we just dont recomend doing it for a LONG period of time. It wont hurt it any just riding it for a little, if you left it off for say a few weeks then like they said, not having backpressure and such will get to it.

I did it with my raptor, and it did sound louder, but it just didnt sound like a good running motor. once i got the slip on pipe, it sounded way better. if ur goona do that, then just spend the extra 250 or wutever and buy a cheap slipon.
