will the cdi work off of the 00 cr250 dirtbike? if it will what will it affect?

yea, they will work. lol, i had one on my R from a 400ex for while... needless to say i changed that right away...... i was always bumping its rev limiter

He wants to know if a CR250 DIRTBIKE CDI will work, not a 400EX.

i know this. im sayin it will work. im preaty sure all connections are the same. you will just be running with the cr powercurves. I was saying ive done it with a 400ex cdi box. and i had the trouble of hittin the 400's rev limiter on it.

it might not work like u would hope it to work unless u get the whole cr250 ignition... aka. stater, flywheel, and all that stuff

i know i was just thinkin of swappin the cdi for maybe a race and see what i can get from it. if i like it i wanna buy the cr ignition upgrade from esr.
