Is the air/fuel mixture screw the same as the pilot screw?
^HMF says the turn the air/fuel mixture screw out 3.5 for their full system but I wasn't sure if that is the same as the pilot screw or not.

it is NOT the same. the pilot jet is inside the carb. the air/fuel mixture screw is underneath the carb.
What everyone here calls the mixture screw is actually the PILOT SCREW and what everyone calls the PILOT JET is actually the SLOW JET.
This is from the Clymer manual.

The Pilot jet and Slow jet are the Same jet. Stock is 38. It is located inside the bowl. The book doesen't call it a mixture screw but thats what it is. It is located under the front of the carb next to the bowl.
