just got cable. its so fast. a file that took 2 mins to download on dial-up takes like 3 seconds on cable. its so awesome

yea i know its awsome. i jsut got it a few weeks ago, comcast doesnt come out here for some odd reason

ive had charter 3meg for couple of years now, in a couple of months they will have 5mg avil, for just a little more dough im gunna get it. thats gunna be cool:blah:

i live outside of the city limits and i dont see any high speed internet being available here in the near future :mad:

We live in the boondocks of wisconsin. u cant get anything but dsl up here... and u gotta be 2 miles from the station for that. we went out and got that satelite internet. works like a son of a gun. fast as heck. only problem is it doesnt work when it storms out..... :ermm:

That is EXACTLY how it is here.....but if we want it we have to pay out the arse.

I like Comcast when its working...

It just seems that im always having problems with it.. and their service isnt that good...

At first it wasnt that bad, occasionally it would stop working, we would have to have a person come out.. We went through a cable modem... Not its been kicking me offline every 1/2 hour and id have to shut the modem off, and restart it before it would work again...

Were getting DSL soon....

Mine did that but I went with a hawking technoglys antenna, instead of being down by the computer its up on the desk, looks like a little satalite, I leave my computer on 24-7 allways connected. I havent had a problem with comcast :)

Dial up sucks compared to cable. Course, I'll take dial up over no internet at all. Oh, been running at 4.2 mgbts lately.

yeah...and its not worth it bc u live so far out that the connection still sux.. or as soon as i paid all that money for the set up, then dsl would be available out here....its available like 2 miles away from me.....doesnt make sense :grr:
