good deal on an 86 r?

my friend wants to get a quad and we looked at a 86 250r today and im wondering if its a good deal. it is mostly stock except for a curtis sparks pipe and fmf silencer, maier fneders, ac pro pegs bumper and grab bar, and its got brand new stock tires and wheels straight off his new 450. he is putting a new clutch in it cause it was slipping a little. i rode it and it runs great (cept for the clutch) and the frame has no cracks. he is asking 2300 for it with old maier fenders but says for 300 more he has good (almost brand new) maier fenders with K&K graphics and seat cover and omf seat latch.... is this a good deal or should he keep looking?

Go to him him 2300 cash in hand.. for all new and old plastics. And see if he bites. I have 87 which i got for 2500.00 with hiper beadlocks and an 86 for 1800.00 which I put 600 into it. It had new plastics and pc. Good luck........
