subframe

I was wondering if anyone has ever cut the rear subframe on a 400EX to replace the grab bar. I've heard something about putting a 250R grab bar on there. If anyone has done this, if they could show me some pics, so I can get some ideas on how to do it and any help would be much appreciated.
