Ok. I drag raced another 300 ex today, He had k&n,dg pipe, jetted and 14 tooth front cog(20in tires)his is a 95 model also. Mine is a 93 model has cobra pipe, uni filter( not jetted) 14 tooth front cog(20in tires).I weigh 190 he weighs 170. Anyway he beat me on the holeshot and top end. Please tell me what I can do to make it go zoom zoom. I know I need to rejet and he beat me by 1 quad lenght on a 100ft drag and about 5 on a 500ft drag.

First of all get rid of that damn cobra exhaust. They do nothing besides make it louder. Buy a White brothers full system. Jet it and drill some holes in your airbox lid.That should do it.

re-jet your bike.. if his is jetted properly, and yours isn't it could very well be the deciding factor...

you could also try swapping machines and see how it works out.. then you would know if his bike was faster, or maybe he's just a bit quicker off the line..
