they are demolition derby proffesionals and they were getting a car ready and got the cutting torch to close to the gas, it blew up and they both got 2nd-3rd degree burns over thier body, face and stuff
i heard they are ganna get skin taken off of thier legs and dead babies and put on their face but i don't know
well you can read about it and sign the guest book and wish them the best of luck

Safty around materials like those is extreamly important. Sorry to hear that that happened, I would never want to be near oxy-acetiline tanks when they go off.

thanks for all the replies, we're sendin them a card
alex was waving to his mom so thats great
but when they get out of the coma im thinkin it might physically hurt and they will then actually know whats going on, proly freak them out a bit, i heard they are covered in bandage over the whole body, except for for their eyes, man that sucks, but they are getting better
and my friend said stuff about the babies so thats why i said ''i don't know'' because she proly just heard a rumor
but man, that would be wierd having your leg skin on your face and stuff
thanks again for your replies

One of my buddies had his eyelids burned off and the only skin the doctors could use was the foreskin from the newborn baby boys.!!
It turned out OK but now he is cockeyed!!:eek2:

i guess all ya can say is watch out about fires around gas.
around here the proper way for a demolition derby car is to drain the gas tank completely, and fill it with water and run the "gas/water" line to the radiator
run the gas line into a "boat gas tank" in your back seat
News like this sucks
i wish all involved the best of luck

I've been around a tank that almost went up. The tank had a tiny leak at one of the valves, and there was a little flash of fire. SCARY stuff!:eek2:
Severe burns are terrible things. A guy I know pretty well got burned on almost his entire body. He's scarred up pretty badly. I even think he has been declared permanetly disabled. It's a shame. He's not even 30.
I really feel sorry for these guys. They have a long road ahead of them. Lots of surgery and therapy. I wish them the best of luck in their recovery.
