I have a PRM on my 400, along with belly and A-arm skids and have beat the snot out of them. They are holding up great and still look good. Highly recommend them!

i just ordered an ac a couple days ago. 1/4" should hold up pretty well compared to the stocker....

I had an AC and if i were u i would cancel your order NOW!!!!
I was at a rocky race up here in PA and with the AC it hit a little rock and ripped the mounts off the swingarm. When I would go to put the jack under to lift the rear-end up the AC would bend up and almost hit the rotor and chain.
If i were u i would get a prm. Thats what im gettin .250
indestructible

PRM ! AC are junk, if ride any conditions where the skid takes a pretty good beating go with PRM. The AC will be trashed in a couple rides, I actually would rather have a stock skid over an AC

well sh1t it's in transit now. rarely when i ride will i have the skid plate hit or scrape on anything, and when it does it's not that bad. it'll do fine. the main reason i went with ac is because i wanted to get the rear incase i wanted to get the full later on. i figured i'd have to get AC because i have propegs. just a compatibility issue i guess. i'll see how they hold up :o

I gotta throw one in for UM. I payed $65 plus shipping, its .250 thick, and its all smoothe on the bottom, no shapes or funny welded designs, but it does hang lower than OEM, Ill get a pic....

i haven't found a swingarm skidplate yet that will last more than 6 or 7 races. Had a dg it got trashed, went through two prm's. If they would make them stronger right below the chain area, and right below the rear rotor area they would hold up better. That's usually where mine bend it either bends up into the chain and starts rubbin it or bends up into the rotor and it starts rubbing. When it does that i use washers on the two rear bolts that hold the skid in to give it some more clearance but after awhile the metal/aluminum just gets so weak and fragile it doesn't even matter.

I took my dg . 250 rear skid and had it welded in all the weak spots. Pretty tough! :macho

I ride in some pretty rock areas from time to time and after one particual ride without a swingarm plate I bent my rotor up. I then went out a got a Pro Armor plate and have not had any more issues....and I have hit some pretty big rocks to.

Whatever you go with is 100x better then stock.

I like my AC because even though I know it isn't as strong as my friends Pro Armor I don't get hung up on half the stuff that he does.

The AC is cut up in the middle of the lowest part so it has a ton of ground clearence.

So far I have smacked some good sized rocks and nothing has happened.

Heck I am no XC or desert racer so it wouldn't make sence for me to hold up the bank for a damn skid plate.
