They are sweet, best bars i've ever had. Nothing gay about them. The pad on my quad might look funny but i'm sure if you hit your chin on the regular pad and got 16 stitches, you'd also thicken it up.

I have yet to wreck since putting on my TAG T2's but I think they look awesome and I like the feel of them.
