Oil change question

i did my 1st oil change on the 400 yesterday using the directions here and i have a question or two.

1st, there is a sealing washer for the oil tank, but i didnt see onewhen i unscrewed the bolt. and bolted it back up. the pan i have has a screen so i think it would have fallen onto the screen, is it possible it didnt come off?

2nd, if it isnt and leaks, and what speed will it leak. i noticed a little residue under the tank area and the nut is damp. not sure if its just from the reinstal or if the tank is leaking...

1st The little washer can be jammed on the bolt,but if you don't have one,go to your honda dealer and buy 2,one for the engine bolt and for the oil tank

2nd,run it for fews minutes and let it cold,and come back fews hours later and check if you have oil on the floor

the engine bolt has its washer. but the tank didnt have one or it didnt come off of the oil tank.

anyways i wiped the bolt dry and put the panunder the tank. it has a yellow top.

so if it seeps/drips in the next 9 hours, ill know about it.

check if it leak oil and if it leak,go buy another washer at your honda dealer
