25% laundry detergent 75% water in a spray bottle.....rinse the quad first then spray on the soap. after dry off the quad an apply wd-40 to the whole quad(not the grips on disk brakes) and polish to a shine...next time the dirt wont stick and nothing will rust!!!!!!! just my .02

oh yeah a big bottle of detergent last for months and if you live at home you can use your parents soap!!!

I might have to go grab the clorox before all them clothes get cleaned..........why clean clothes when you can make your quad shine..............hm........now i realize why they made that stuff

believe it or not paint thinner works great around the swing arm sprockets and other real dirty grubby places and does not take the paint off. I use it all the time and has never hurt the paint

Go and get some castrol super clean. It is a strong degreaser so it works great. Then spray your plastic with pledge, let it drip dry, and put oon some sunglasses before the glare blinds you.

I am not fortunate enough to own a pressure washer so the best thing I found to use is the engine degreaser at the coin operated pressure washer. Spray the mud off then spray the engine degreaser on the bike then rinse off. It works really well. The one I go to uses hot water for the degreaser so I think that is what makes it work so well. It really even cleans the grease off the sprocket and everything. Just make sure you lube her up once your through.

i use pressure washer paint thinner then i spary armorall all over the fenders and leave it one dont wipe it off it makes your fanders slikckery and shiny it works real well it also makes yor plastic more bendable so it wont craack as easy i love it alot!:D and whatever you do when you wash dont let it sit out in the sun wih water all over it it makes the suns rays in intesnify and lses yor red and it turns pink white!

Hey guys i used the wisk and water and that is the BEST stuff i have ever used so far. It works amazing on rims, swingarm, tires, a arms and everything else. You just spray on let it sit and rinse. The only thing u have to rub is the engine THATS IT. i recommend it.

get you some b-12 carb cleaner , it will clean anything that is dirty. i use it on my shoes and crap like that 2. works great on your hands when you get that mystery oil on them ( the crap that you dont know where it came from and it refuses to come off). also takes off spray paint. it also kills bugs dead. me and my friend ( fellow gear head ) had to do a bug project in biology and we found out that bugs are instantly stunned when sprayed with this stuff. you collect the bug. and if they dont die , they come back to life. we got a 100!!

hey, i sell a few of the degreasers mentioned here. on one of them it states not to use on motorcycles. i called the manufacturer to clarify this....they said it can and will ruin bearings. they didnt elaborate but im thinkin the degreaser is washing the bearings from repeated use. i used one of these degreasers and recently had a lower steering stem bearing fail. i dunno if that caused it or not. i think ill be using elbow grease and tryin the laundry detergent for awile....my 2 cents
