Is their anything I can do to get a softer seat on my dvx.

I remember hearing somthing about putting more seat foam on it so its softer but it will make the seat alittle higher.

Get a different seat or seat cushion? IDK. Maybe a KFX or Z seat, if it would fit?

Kfx seat will not fit. Have look but not been able to find different foam.

You could most likely find some sort of foam at a fabric type of store but idunno.

z400 seat will fit and i dont know y but is much softer than a kfx seat and a dvx seat i thought they were supposed to be the same

I don't know for sure but I don't think the DVX uses the same seat as the KFX or the Z, Diff. shape but you can try.

Have you checked into local upolstry (sp.) shops. they re-covered my bro's street bike seat for almost nothin'. The guy just did it for the cost of materials plus we gave him $20 because he was cool and he got it done fast!

DVX Plastics & seat included are very different from the KFX/Z. Take a ride to any local upholstery shop and ask for a peice of scrap foam. They will probably give it to you for free

I ordered a new seat for my dvx because i built 1 from frame up. The seat comes in pieces so you can buy just the foam from Arctic Cat. I sent my seat to a local upolsterer and had it custom made for me. He put some extra foam in it to keep me from riding on the tank. and a small layer on the top. It made a great difference and alot more comfy.
