i took my header off today, 3 nuts were orignal and another was not. well, the 3 that were original rusted to the bolts so of course i took them out. on the not so original nut wich was also rusted tight, i snapped the head bolt off... after a few 4 star words... anyone got a good idea how to get a rusted/snapped off bolt out?

u could drill it out but it takes time and prfection, just get a drill bit thats smaller than the bolt but not to small and drill it straight thourgh and back out usually works, but u don't want to get metal shaving in the motor or hit the threads of the hole,

First off if you start your bike and heat the stud up it should come out a lot easier. As far as getting the bolt out you can go to sears or tool/hardware store and buy yourself a ez-out. Bring the snapped part with you can you can size up the ez-out you will need. the package that comes with the ez-out has the drill bit size you will need to drill into the stud so the ez-out can do its job. Be careful not to snap the ez-out in the hole you drilled because they are very strong metal and they can be a ***** to drill through. If you didn't want to go that route you can always start with a small size drill bit drill a hole in the center of your stud and just work your way up the drill bit sizes till the stud is drilled out. then get your self a tap and rethread the hole. Good Luck!!

ya, heat it up. then use and ez out, works every time. I have good luck with the short style ez outs.
