2000 400ex tons of mods

well guys i think its time to move on... all my friends have bikes and i can't ride on any of the tracks they do because its all bikes... so its time to switchback...

make me and offer on it... i will trade for a newer 4 stroke 250f bike...

the quad was just rebuilt by pappy and has no more then 10 hours on it... if that... its located in northern cambria pa... i won't ship it...

I hate to see you selling it Tommy but as we have talked before, its time to grow and move on.

Folks, the quad runs good and $4000 seems fair. The front shocks are brand new along with just about everything else.

you have no clue how much its killin me to sell this thing:( exspecially after all u've done to it... it would be stock if it wasn't for u!

i just can't take sittin around watchin all the bikes ride everyday when i'm not allowed on the tracks... i ride with 4 other bikes and i'm the only quad and its just not working for me... they are all out everyday and i'm just the bleecher kid...

yea its very nice dont get me wrong but i dont see 4000 unnegotiable in it without an exhuast....theres like 450 right there (for a GOOD exhaust)which u gotta put into it

trust me if i could have a pipe on it i would... infact it had a full lrd chrome pipe for awhile till i got the cops called on me 24-7... it has all the motor work and its fast enouf... it'll smoke any stock 400ex out there no problem...

BTW i'd love to see ur quad and see it look half as nice...


and i could really careless what KBB says about the price... i know whats into this thing and what its worth... i've had enouf people tell me selling it for 4,000 is way to low even...

So your saying that if Tim Farr ran a stock exhaust on his 450r is would only be worth blue book? This quad is well worth 4,000. The front shockd where at LEAST 850 possilbly more. You need to do some research before you bash on someone elses bike. Tommy good luck selling man, hate to see you switch to bikes.

free bump... and man i hear ya with the exhaust issue, i got the same problem, but they cant do anything where i live because i havent broken any laws.

but ya this 400 is worth at least 4000$ no doubt.....

look at it

elkas, white plastics, tires wheels, powercoated frame, motor work, a-arms, axle. yea its worth it.

i bet some of you people dont know how much some of these parts cost, being frount elka elites will run you up to 1000$ for std travel 1150 for LT.

i think the front shocks were 1225$ or 1325$... i forget bc i bought a ton of parts at the same time... they are like brand new never rode on really...


i know i'll get 4,000 for it... i've had a few offers of 4,000 already but they bakced out last min on me!
