Exhaust Tips...?

Do Just Tips make a difference in sound? I have a glasspack on my 5.4 f250, but its just not loud enough! my buddy has a 4.5" chrome tip hes gonna give me, he says its like 2' long, will this change how loud my truck is?

I dont think its gonna make it sound diff, but it will make it look better

It's gonna alter the sound some.May make it a lil more raspy??More than likely,more mellow.We call em "bologna tubes" here.Put it on ,it cant hurt!!;)

I dont know what the big deal is about it being loud just as long as it sounds good it'll work... but do what you want...
