Alright, im sure this question has been asked before, but i took the teather off my blaster and want to put it on my 01 400ex. Can someone take me through it step by step on how to wire this bad boy up?

You connect the long wire to the black/yellow stripes that is connect to the cdi and the short one on the ground.

Don't do that your bike will never start again

Just do a contact with this wire, don't cut it because its the fire impulsion that goes to CDI then go to the coil and to your sparks plug

I don't realize that its always me that answer your question hahaha :D

usualy the atv ground wire is green

but just put a connector on the ground wire of your killswitch and bolt it on the frame it would do the same thing.Thats the way I do mine,I bolt the killswitch ground on my left fender bracket that hold it to the frame and it work

yeah thats how i was going to do it, but i wasnt sure which wire was the ground wire. Its got 2 wires, one solid black wire, and one black wire with a white line down it. Im not sure which ones the ground. I had this teather on my blaster, and i had the local dealer take it off cause the quad was in the shop at the time. They just snipped the wires rather then taking them off the right way because they are a bunch of *******s.

So now the wires are not only snipped, i dont know which ones which, AND the wires are cut damn *** small. :grr:
