Checking Oil Level

On a 400ex when u check the oil u r supposed to let the bike run for a min then shut it off and then check the dipstick right? let me know how to do it.

Yea, you are supposed to let it idle to operating temp, or for a few minutes. Then shut it off and let it sit for just alittle bit and then check it.

I start it,I let it idle few minutes,shut it off and check my oil level
