Hiper 8's and Lonestar axle

Has anyone else had any trouble putting on the hairpin that lonestar supplies you (instead of the stock cotter pins) to hold the hub nut down when using hiper 8x8's - there doesn't seem to be enough room for me to get the hairpin angled right to get it through the hold in the end of the axle

Ya on the hipers there is limited room for the cotterpin.But if your using the clip from LSR it will be really tough to get it in

I seen people put a 90 degree bend at the top of the pin to make them fit.
