should i get a yfz

Me and my dad have been talking about getting me a yfx but im not shure if im ready for it. I do mx on my kfx and im just about an intermediate rider. Im planning racing soon but im not shure if i should stick with the kfx and just learn more or go ahead and get a yfz and start building it.I done my research brtween both of the 450s and the i like the yfz the best beacause it is more race ready and is electric start and i like the looks of the yfz better.
Another thout was waiting to see what will hapen with the z450 and then make my choice. Im not in a rush just want to know a couple of opinions Im not planning on putting any more money in my kfx when i know that i will be selling it in less than a year.

Also will my works triple rate fit on a yfz or are the stock shock better?

I say go for the YFZ, i love mine, i personally dont like sizuki but who knows what their 450 will be like. It also depends on your size, if you are smaller the YFZ will be more comfortalbe but bigger riders seem to prefer the 450r, but if you are gonna start racing you will deff want a 450 so get a YFZ, there faster anyways.

The 450r is a better choice but you need some muscle to kick it over.

it really comes down to personal preference, if you're used to electric start, then the yamaha is probably gonna be better to adapt to. handling from a kfx to a yfz will be a good difference since the yamahas front end gets switchy at times. the honda has a great front end, but as you all know, the rear end isn't as great.

i'd say since u seem pretty sure on gettin the yfz, to just go ahead and get it, its a great bike and you will be more than happy with it, you wont miss that kfx at all

dude ...no question get a yfz there so sweet . they are power houses but you dont have to throw big performance mods on until your ready. I love mine i bet u will like yours to.

the z450 is gunna be the best quad out ther in a few months. Suzuki has bee n working on the z sense yamaha 's been working on the yfz so i say wait and go for teh z 450.

I heard the new suzuki was gonna be sweet, but if you want one now get the yfz. Mine stepped up my riding a great deal this season. From a worked 416 last season

test ride them, see what you like... never buy a quad if you havent riden it yet:p

when we were lookin for a production 450 bike, i test rode the honda and the yamaha, and the yamaha did have a little more umphh right off the bat, but i felt so uncomfortable on i, the ergonomics (seat and how the plastic felt around my legs) were not what i liked at all. where as the honda had really good power and the ergonomics are awesome for me. i am 5'10 155, and it feels perfect for me.

(not tryin to make u go honda, but i was in the same boat not to long ago, and found the honda was better for me, and kick start is more my thing being a mx'er)
