Hey guys-
I got my ancient Ohlins today that i bought on Ebay. I donno how old they are, but do you all think it would be worth it for me to get them revalved and maybe get a double or triple rate spring setup on them or just get rid of them?? Right now I can bottom them by just jumping on the bumper...THanks-Mike
Oh, and jeff@thequadshop, in case you read this, these are the ones I pm'd you about

one of the best set ups i have ever rode was a set of pro action prepped ohlins on a 250r.

i geuss its going to come down to how much you are willing to spend on the shocks. if properly worked, they should work really well.

I would have re-valved and serviced. The bladders could be shot, the oil old and faded, or the valving could be too soft. I would send them out and have them set up to your wieght and setup. It's a BIG difference!!! I notice you have a-arms, just get it done. Youd rather be happy you spent a few bucks and it rides right than cuss yourself for not ever doing it.
