Muddy Creek Raceway - Memorial Day Weekend - Victory Motorsports !!!!!!!!!!

What else could you ask for on a Holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya I know the race is old news but hey if you had the week I had you would think that the race had just ended and you just got back from the track!
Harlen has been calling on just about an hourly basis wondering if I would ever get the coverage done.
Well the Graduations, Dance Reviews, Trips to the Hospital, Storms, Power Outages, Teaching and just about anything else the world could have drummed up on me is finally over!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am thinking that I live a double life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I do but that's why I enjoy the fast paced life of racing!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On with the show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I dont get your class in the reports, send me an email and maybe you can convince me to cover it at the next round!

I'll bet we have a bunch of photos from your class at Muddy Creek though!!!!!!

Check them out @ www.remnsproductions.com

The fans were like a bunch of caged animals and some of them even acted like it at night!
Someone needs to give Suzuki an apology!!!!!!!!

We were a man short so my wife tried to pick up the slack on the weekend and of course little Rocco just added to all of the work we had to get done at the track!

He had a blast though!!!!!!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 03:55 PM
I think he had everyone else on their toes also as he got to ride his dune buggy for the first time at the track! (New Batteries)

I dont know what I am going to do at the end of summer when he gets the DRR 50?? Watch out !

Doug Morris had his note pad out right from the get go!
Get em straightened out Doug!!

RemNS

The pits were somewhat good with the limited amount of room they had!

I think that FMF ITP and MAXXIS all had a bet to see who could get the most signage up on the weekend!

Dinli was pitted right next to us and were busy all weekend!

Pay attention to how many youth riders are at the races these days!!!

Big turnouts all year long! That is promising for the future!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:05 PM
Even with the absence of Team Leader Jorge Cuartas, FMF looked good all weekend long!
Dont worry Jorge, The boys had the All Stars under control and representing!!!!

Here is a long lost soul I found in the crowd!
Randy Dinkins made an appearance at Muddy Creek!
He is a great guy to talk to and I dont think he will ever give up trying to get racing going in the right direction!
Great to see You Randy! Keep in touch!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:10 PM
Even the hounds were out in full dress !!!!!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:12 PM
The track looked great and a little early morning rain on saturday added to the conditions that kept the dust down for almost all of the motos!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:13 PM
Even Dunk was probably saying what happened to all of the dust we had the last few years!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:16 PM
Josh Creamer's mechanic was talking to me about how good the ProAM Class is this year! Then he had to start counting what place Josh was in 3rd----2nd------4th---5th----3rd again!!!!!!!!

He probably erased his board 3 times before Josh came around to see it!

Goes to show you how intense Pro AM is!

I thought only Italian's talked and counted with their hands?????

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:17 PM
Quinn from Rausch Creek is always a laugh at the track!
How'd that water feel Quinn ??????????????????

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:18 PM
My Banner crew even did a good job adding some color to the track for all of the spectators!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 04:21 PM
Alright enough with the behind the scenes action,, Lets get into the nitty gritty of some Pro AM Action!!!!!!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:08 PM
I think I have just shown you how intense the action was in the Pro Am Production class all weekend!
With 4 races left on the schedule the points battle is getting ever so close!
Some of the leaders fell back but are lucky enough to have a throwaway in hand!
Other leaders....well they did just that lead !
Holeshots are crazy but the Pro Am Class is usually pretty clean when it comes to the first turn!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:12 PM
Pro Am Production saw the two leaders out front all weekend staking the claim of dependability!
Josh Upperman and Josh Creamer both won their qualifiers but it wasnt a walk away as the 2nd gate saw the top 5 all battling for the lead right down to the checkers!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:14 PM
The shocker was #71 Cody Smith getting right inot the mix starting out up front but loosing the lead by the checkers!
Cody ran consistent witht a 4-4 on the weekend and made a name for himself as a person to watch in the future!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:15 PM
#270 Creamer had his work cut out for him on Sunday with a mediocre holeshot that got the heart pounding and wanting to make some passes in a hurry!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:18 PM
Rocco Arno had a great run in both Pro Am classes for the qualifiers 2nd and 3rd but the main moto's just didnt go in Rock's favor! He is still up front in the mix of a points battle and I am sure High Point will hold the key for acceleration in ProAM!
Rocco went 2-6 on the weekend!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:20 PM
#22 Cody Miller has also been woken up by the points race and has posted some great results in the past few races!
Cody went 3-5 on the weekend!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:22 PM
#52 Chad Weinen looked like he had a plan for the main moto on sunday as he finished in the 2nd spot in qualifying but ended up in the 7th position by the end of the moto on Sunday!
Chad went 2-7 with a good run overall!

RemNS
06-07-2005, 05:25 PM
#815 Bobby Ross must have taken his vitamins on Sunday!
Bobby finished 7th in Saturday's qualifiers but climbed the ladder on Sunday to finish 3rd in the main!
Bobby went 7-3 and lit the spark for the Unlimited class!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 04:10 AM
#215 Thomas Hager was on fire in the qualifiers but the main dropped him back intot he 14th position! Thomas is usually one of the top 5 riders in any of the Proam Motos so problems definately sent him back a few spots!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 04:42 AM

ProAm Unlimited had a little more suprises than usual for the weekend!
There were the usuals and then there was Bobby Ross!

The man finally got a decent holeshot! Bobby ran away with the class but not before he had to pass 4 or 5 riders that came out of the first turn in front of him! The rest of the pack made the weekend with position changes bar rubbing and passing attempts in every corner!

2nd through 10th all had a chance of moving up on each jump straight and corner!

Great racing guys! Keep it up!!!!!!!!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:01 AM
The Media All Stars team worked together in the Unlimited Class this weekend!
Just a note on #21 Mark Kendall ! Mark had some terrible luck in qualifying for the ProAM Production class on Saturday! You name it, it happened. Mark Stalled in LCQ's, Sputtered down in moto1 and missed qualifying for Production. I do believe he was out for revenge in the Unlimited class!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:02 AM
The top 4 were set coming around on the first lap! #21 Upperman #71 Smith #21 Kendall #311 Schaeffer (good holeshot) and who is that blue Bike #815 Ross!
This is Pro Am Unlimited! Their never going to stay that way! By lap#2 many passes were made and the field almost inverted with Ross moving up lap by lap!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:07 AM
Lap #2 Saw Ross throw a block on #049 Sage Baker that looked worse than it was with Sage coming into the corner a little hot! But it made some great action shots and made me jump out of the way!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:10 AM
By lap #3 Ross was up front battling for the lead with Upperman!
The battle went on for 2 more laps in a great Last lap Jockey for the checkers!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:12 AM
#815 Bobby Ross made it stick on the last lap and took the overall with a 1-1 on the weekend!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:14 AM
The battles behind him were still intense as #71 Smith tried to hold off the calvary through lap#2! #21 Mark Kendall would have none of that!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:16 AM
#311 Jesse Schaeffer would start dropping back with brake problems! Jesse ended up in 10th spot on Sunday!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:17 AM
#45 Ricj Stamback would also have a few problems in the main and drop back to 14th! This left the door open for Creamer and Arno!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:21 AM
#270 Creamer would make up some ground with others having difuculties but just could not get up to the front with all of the traffic and position jockying!

Remember the post in the beginning with Creamers mechanic writing on the board 4 times ?

Well this was the moto and there were many changes on lap #3!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:22 AM
#049 Sage Baker would have problems with Ross on Lap#2 but he never gave up and made up a few spots to finish in the 9th position in the main!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:24 AM
#71 Cody Smith was consistent in both ProAm classes!
Cody kept it going to finish 3rd in the Unlimited Main on Sunday!
A better finish on Saturday and he might have taken 3rd overall!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:25 AM
Kendall got his revenge on the Muddy creek track posting a 5th in the main which put him in the 4th overall position!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:26 AM
#72 Skylar Stewart put his guns down long enough to shoot a score of 6th in Sunday's main! Skylar finished up 7th overall!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:29 AM
#714 Josh Williams made a great run in the Unlimited class posting a score of 5-7 on the weekend for the 6th spot!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:32 AM
My man Rocco Arno was in the hunt but had problems during lap#3 that sent him to the back of the pack in the main!
Rocco finished up 18th which dropped him back to 14th overall!
This opened up another points battle for another ProAm CLass!

Come on Rock!

Ya gotta get the Rocco name going for my son now!

Get em back at High Point!

RemNS

Great racing in the ProAM Classes but one of the classes that we have not covered yet this year was Open!

Some great riders are in this class:
Dane Heilman
Josh Chapman

Randy Hurst
Wesley Heatherly
Tommy Tantillo
Angela Moore
Superman Ryan Barnes

and a lot more!

Saturday's qualifying saw Heilman run off with the win!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 05:55 AM
Sunday's Open A Holeshot went to none other than #07 Dane Heilman!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:03 AM
# 112 Tommy Tantillo is usually up front on the holeshot with the big Bore but could only manage a mid pack start!

Check out the orange frame next to Tantillo! Sweet!

A big first turn pile up drop the hopes of many for a good overall on the weekend!
The wreck collected almost half the field!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:07 AM
#17 Dave Porter had a consistent weekend going 3-3 for 3rd overall!
Dave's son also started getting the motor going in his class this weekend!

Great run to the Porter's!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:09 AM
#319 Josh Chapman used the florescent orange frame to blind many as he caught our eye for a few great photos and also blinded the competition with a stellar performance of 2-2 for 2nd overall!

Open B is another class we have not mentioned this year!
A little bit of shuffeling came about in this class as Saturday's results looked like a flip flop to Sunday!
#31 Charles Moore had the early lead on Saturday but ended up in the 3rd spot by the checkers!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:23 AM
#14 Dexter Tapscott made a 2nd place finish on Saturday !
Sunday's main was all Tapscott as he went 2-1 and took the overall for the weekend!
I think it was the sleeveless shirt the gave him the aero advantage!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:23 AM
#431 Jeremy Seek took the win on Saturday but dropped back to third in the main which only allowed a 2nd place finish overall behind Tapscott!

RemNS
06-08-2005, 06:27 AM
#31 Charles Moore gave me another scare this weekend as he grabbed the loose dirt and ripped up and over the berm just about taking me out!
Charles went 3-2 on the weekend for a third overall!

Both Womens classes were down on entries this weekend as graduations had a role in some of the riders opting to miss and drop this race!

Most Noteably Media All Stars Leslie Ragon!

#25 Jami Luburgh would jump all over the chance the grab the points as she would sweep the Womens B class with a 1-1!

RemNS
