Well after the $40 for a caliper rebuild kit (PPFFT, screw that place), I tore into the thing. I have an o-ring assortment set so I hoped for the best. I pressed out the piston of the caliper, removed and cleaned the 2 major o-rings. Next I went for the removal of the faulty o-ring, part number 27 I believe on the caliper blow up. Scraping around with a pick, I noticed there was NO o-ring. It had been eaten away or something. So after a bit of trial and error I got an o-ring to fit and work perfectly in there. For anyone who needs to fix their's, this is the measurement of the ring:

Ring number (if it matters outside of my kit): 011
1/16 W
5/16 ID
7/16 OD

Hopefully I can prevent someone from getting ripped off. This is probably a $.12 part at your local hardware store, and an easy install. It has worked flawless thus far, and the brake is tight with no air.

I'd like to think that Cycle Pro's in Bridgewater Ma had mistaken what I had asked for. I asked for a rear caliper rebuild kit and they quoted me $40 and some change. I didn't go any further than that. I was disgusted after hearing the price. Especially after everyone said it was a "few dollars". They also sold me a new block of plate for $18. Then I come to find that Lonestar sells them for $11 each off their site. The place sketches me out. They gave me a pink reciept hand written for $18. I didn't realize there was no part number or name on it till I got home. Name of the business isn't even on there. Just a generic reciept book. Looks like no refunds for me, huh? lol

Anyways, hope I helped someone's day.

yeah i knew the seals were bad in mine so i had the honda shop order me the 2 main o-rings in that set im unsure of the number so i got them and tore the thing apart and it was that little o-ring your talking about at the top. so i went down and they just gave it to me, its only like 1.75 or so but ****, thats a lot of money for that little o-ring.
