it may last a little longer if you clean and lube it once in a while. but anyway i have used regina o-ring chains, and D.I.D. x-ring chains, they are both good chains, and durable.

I lube it before every ride and after each wash. That dirts from my ride yesterday. I think it broke becuase the skid plate bent a while back and wore the chain down and it just broke over time.

with all that dirt, i'm having a tough time verifying that the chain is in fact "O-ring" type. I'll take your word,...

I have heard some really good stuff about the Regina z-ring chain. I just put one on, i havent ridden it yet though, but i have heard they dont stretch a whole lot and they last pretty long. $95 though.

Only thing that gets me is i went to the dealer and he looked it up and said it was a 92link chain but when i got home mine was a 94link. Had to go back up and get a 120link (the next size he had) and cut 26 links off. Now its on and its working so im happy.
