I am planning on having my 05 450r shocks revalved and resprung by c&d very soon and i have read that everyone loves them and how they work great but my question is .... I ride mainly tight trails with some rocks and stumps but ofcourse we have nice jumps and long straights , how big of a deal will ground clearance be with a 2-3 inch drop , i will be getting some prm skids for protection , i am just looking for some input from someone that has this setup and rides trails.

I race XC with Elka and keep 8.5 to 9.5" of clearance from the bottom of the frame to the ground. You will want to keep this on the trails. PRM skids are the best!

Are you having them ZPS the shocks also?

The front will be triple rate with zero preload and the rear will be dual rate with zero preload and the rear gets a new valve body that increases travel by 1"

You are going to be setup good. C&D does a super job on the shocks. Just watch your ground clearance, I had mine a bit too low and got bucked off pretty hard, thats no fun.
