Brake upgrade.

today i was looking at a TRX450R. and took note of the front spindles and brake setup. With some minor work. I think i could upgrade the stock one piston calibers to the two piston setup from the 450R also the 450R has a brake light switch, and since i have a RC51 tail light that im going to put on my 400, why not add brake lights too.

Well for the light you would actually have to wire it up to the switch as there is no existing "brake light" wire on the machine now. Also I too have noticed the 450R calipers, but the more common upgrade is the 250R calipers as they are twin piston as well. You can buy the custom brackets to mount them. Do a search there is probably tons of info on this setup.

i didnt think about the 250R. your right, well i got some pressure switchs for my brake light mod. they work with fluid pressure.

wiring is no problem, since thats one of my things, i love doing custom wiring its fun.

I'll post pics of the tail light mod once done.
