i have done a search on this and read loads but I'm confused how can you tell if these are zero preload?
my front shocks have 3 springs the top one just compresses completely i know it should do that i found that but are they zero pre load

If the top spring cancells out right away then it sounds like zero preload.

Does your bike sag without compressing the shocks? If you are ZPS'd you will be sittin' low.

it compress the top spting all the way unless i turn the spacer and it sits low but not sure if it is lower than the standard ones as i brought the bike with them on

My buddies Z doesn't compress at all without the rider on it and his are ZPS. I guess its probably because they are set up for a 300 lb rider!?:eek2:
