Registering a quad

As many of you know I have been building my 250r piece by piece since november, starting with a frame. Well now it's almost done, and I need to get it registered. The main question I have is that I can't contact the guy that I bought the frame from to get his address to send the paperwork. Is there someway that I can still get it registed? Also, will the fact that almost every part on this 250r came from a deifferent machine make a difference?

Contact your DMV. They should be able to tell you what to do. You may have to file for a builder type title, it just depends on your state laws. Similar to when someone builds a homemade trailer and such.

If you have the VIN, you may be able to ile for a lost or salvage title as well.
